Why virtual products have download link in them?

  • I do not offer any downloadable products. I use the virtual product so that if customers need to add an additional service (not product) to their order, they are not charged shipping.
    The problem is (and confusing for the customer) they get a download link in their email. I cannot find the code exactly in the emails.php of jigoshop to remove the link from generating in the emails.
    Would be greatly awesome if someone could help me with that or give me another way to prevent certain products from incurring shipping charges (someone should make a plugin).

    please check if it’s the case with newest version – we have 1.8.6 now

    advanced shipping methods – there is premium shipping plugin allowing for per product rules.
