Why Two Years Outdated?

Also curious why is this being abandoned. If you are not going to keep it updated what is an alternative SMTP plugin option for integrating with your service?

Anyone used Mailgun with another plugin?

Apologies for the lack of updates here. We will be deploying a new version of the Mailgun plugin very soon. Stay tuned!

How is it even possible to be this outdated, seriously how can a for-profit business be this far behind? I want to use your API but if you let your plugin fall this far behind I can only imagine how bad the things are we can’t see.

We’ve been using Mailgun for a couple years, and really do depend on the WordPress functionality due to webserver outbound SMTP being blocked by hosting provider. To be honest If my company continues to see this plugin as abandoned then we will be forced to close out mailgun account, and go with one of the other transnational email providers that offer a supported WP plugin. I’m hoping that Mailgun is listening to its customers asking not to abandon this plugin. Please advise on a time frame for a new version that will be maintained. Thanks for your time!

@mailgun Just wanted to chime in as well. I’m a long-time Mailgun user with many clients using the service heavily. Wordfence recently marked this plugin as abandoned, and likely the WP plugin directory isn’t far behind. Any update on a possible release date for the new version? Thanks much!
