Hello, I have this question on my head months ago from when I started to use Gutenberg builder and WooCommerce.

Why there is no a featured product(S) block to render a grid of products?

An example exists on WooCommerce Docs using a shortcode, but why not a block?

I see WooCommerce brings some blocks that manage this grid setting:
- Products by Tag
- Best Selling Products
- Products by Category
- Newest Products
- On Sale Products
- Products by Attribute
- Top Rated Products
My question is still: why do not support a native feature of WooCommerce with a featured product(S) block to render with Gutenberg?

If I understand correctly, it seems this might be added at some point in the future: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-gutenberg-products-block/issues/927

That said, if that Github report is quite what you’re looking for, please open a new feature request to bring that to the attention of our developers ??

I’m sorry but that is not what I’m asking. That’s about adding a class to some products.

I’m asking why there is no featured products gird Gutenberg block to ONLY list featured products?

Instead of using the old shortcode to show a list of ONLY featured products I wanted to do it with a Gutenberg block.

Hi there,

With the WooCommerce Blocks there is a Featured Block that you can use to display one featured product. However, at this moment there is not dedicated option to display a featured products grid. I had a look around and there are a few plugins available that might be helpful. Here’s one example:
