Why the sidebar dropping to the bottom?

Check it in the editor and look for unclosed tags. At a glance, it would seem that there are a few.

When you see your sidebar drop, odds are there’s a post that is either too wide (images) or has malformed / unclosed html tags.

Yep, almost always.

Whenever I encounter stuff like this, I usually start by checking (and if needed, fixing) the XHTML validity. Most issues can be solved this way.
