    Hi,
Just starting to explore WP 3.9. Thanks to everyone who worked hard on this, I know how hard it can feel to receive more criticism than kudos because people usually point their finger to what doesn’t work. So, sorry guys, I will also point my finger to something, but with a grateful heart.

My question: why has text become sooo small in edit mode? Just check this screenshot https://screencast.com/t/JplggRKOqjS6 to get an idea.

I deactivated tinyMCE advanced, I tried on Safari & Chrome, still the same result. Could it come from a css or plugin conflict, or does this size come with 3.9? If yes, do you know any way to increase the size to make editing more readable?

    Thanks!

Ok, some further investigation. I deactivated all plugins and got the same results. Then I deactivated my current theme (viewport), and I got a decent text size again in the text editor. Hence my question: how can a theme that affects the EXTERNAL display of wp also affect how standard text appears in the editor?

Even more investigation that might help others.

I followed the instructions here: https://wptavern.com/common-issues-and-troubleshooting-wordpress-3-9
Deactivating all plugins + shifting to a standard theme didn’t do the whole thing. Clearing the cache helped me point to the real issue. And the issue came from… Revolution Slider version 4.3.7, supposedly the latest version. Well, since WP 3.9 they did an upgrade to fix this issue. So there we go, we can close this case and I hope my own search can help others with the same issue.
