Why some adverts are pending?

    Hey I’ve noted that there were pending ads, that I had to aprove manually, but I have no idea why? Why some ads are pending an others are publlished straightforward?

    i mean they are in a folder named temporary

    Hi, the temporary Adverts are created when user will submit the form on page in [adverts_add] and leave the page instead of finishing the posting.

    In most cases WPAdverts will delete the temporary posting, but sometimes (for example if there is some JavaScript error on site) it is unable to do so and the temporary postings need to be removed manually.

    These Ads also show while the user is in the process of posting the Ad, so if you will want to remove them manually then do that only to Ads older than 24 hours.

    Thanks, so just in case: is there a way to post the advert directly, without preview or leave a message like “you are about to leave the page without …”?

    It is not really possible to go to save page without going to Preview first i am afraid.

    I will consider adding the notice, but if there is already a JavaScript error on site it will not show the same way the current script is unable to run the code responsible for deleting the Advert when leaving a page.

    Thank you! I see your logic, but it will be useful in case the person posting the advert didn’t get that he/she have to submit it yet.

    Hmm, you are right :), i will add it in one of next releases.
