Why so complicated

  • Sorry, I don’t get it.
    This is a newsletter plugin, right?
    but then I need to pay for a 3rd party email service API and then I still need to pay for sending emails.
    What else?

    Why isn’t there a single proper newsletter management plugin for WP itself?

    Besides, I completely dislike Aweber or Mailchimp as they are nothing but spammers and arrogant too, btw. Complain about why I am not unsubscribed after unsubscribing from a list that I never subscribed for and you will never hear again from them, until the next spam mail.

    So really, no thanks, I hate this professional spammers which cost just money.

    Anything available at all – as I mentioned, or do we all depend now on these Pro Spammers?

  • This is a plugin to aid in integration with 3rd party ESPs. Note that it says only “Newsletter SIGN-UP”.

    Why not look at MailPoet if you want an ESP that is built on WP while also offering a premium tier with their own sending server?

    Regardless of what you use – spammers WILL cost you money or KILL the deliverability of your server – if you don’t do things to reduce them such as using double opt-in on your lists. That’s a “fact of life” for email marketing today.
