Why showing my full name instead login?

    I have one problem. Why my posts show my full name instead of my login name like it should? It used to show my login name, but now it shows my full name and I don’t want that. I haven’t changed anything, not on purpose anyway. I’ve updated my wordpress and jetpack, but I haven’t changed anything in my theme or code, so why this is happening? How can I fix it?

    It says kirjoitti: “Riikka Sivonen” and it should say “Tipsuli”

    Have you set up a display name in your profile on your site?

    Yes. And it’s weid. I haven’t even filled my full name anywhere. First name and last name are empty, so where they’are even coming from?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Fixed it. The problem was in my theme. I have no idea why, cos it’s always worked before..

    Before it was
    <?php the_author_posts_link(); ?>

    And I added ID and now it works.
    <?php the_author_posts_link(“ID”); ?>

    But there’s one thing I can’t understand. Where is got my full name? It’s not in my profile anywhere, so where did that info magically came from?

    Without seeing your site, I couldn’t say…
