• I often build multilingual multi-site WP websites, in which each site has contents in a respective different language.
In these cases, the WP function language_attributes() writes the correct lang attribute for the html tag.
However, Head Cleaner plugin rewrites the attribute either with WPLANG constant or ‘ja‘.
Why isn’t there an option to turn off this lang rewriting?
Or, at least, why not rewrite the attribute referring to global $wp_local_package, get_option( ‘WPLANG’ ), and get_site_option( ‘WPLANG’ ) as they are referred to in get_locale() function?

FYI, in my case, the lang rewrite does not happen when the Remove IE Conditional Tag option is checked.
