    You should update your php instead of waiting for me to change the readme.txt.

    Although deprecated, if you want to update the plugin without updating php, you can download the plugin as a zip file and install it by rewriting “Requires PHP: 8.0” in the readme.txt to your version.

    My plan to make php 8.1 mandatory on November 26, when security support for php 8.0 expires.
