Sorry for the late reply, somehow I never got a notification for this support request. I’ve fixed the issue and will be pushing out an update very soon. For some reason, the US feed doesn’t load with http but will work with https.

I’ve added https in the latest version that went out a few days ago. However, I’ve noticed that sometimes the iTunes feeds don’t work properly. It seems to be an intermittent issue. Sometimes, the US reviews won’t be displayed.

In a future version, I plan to have a workaround by adding automatic checking for reviews in the background and caching past results. This way, you won’t have to keep refreshing the page when results for the US (or other countries) don’t load. And you won’t have to wait for the reviews to load when you open the page.

FYI, review caching and automatic checking in the background have just been added to the latest version. Thanks for using the plugin!

    Thanks Doug,

For some reason now it’s not working at all. I did the update, tried putting my URL in (both http and https versions) and this is a screenshot of what I get: https://cl.ly/image/0p3F173x0V3N

    Thanks.

I think there was a delay in one of the plugin files getting uploaded (a new file added to the “includes” folder). You probably upgraded in that short window during the delay and didn’t get that file when you upgraded.

I think the fix would be either to reinstall the plugin, or download the plugin files manually and upload the /includes/utility-functions.php file to the plugin’s /includes/ folder.

If you still get the error, please let me know.
