Why o Why are my posts too wide?

  • How do I post here without my post turning out WWAY TOO WIDE??

    hmmm, that actually worked!
    SO, I’m obviously brand new.
    One problem is the Category Links go to URL not found.
    and here’s a question that will break the rule for ‘no such thing as a stupid question’
    but how do I add pages to my site? (o the humiliation)
    and lastly, these IDs, are they set by WP or do I create them.. ??

  • IDs are automagically generated by WordPress. What version are you using, and when you ask how to add pages, are you referring to pages that have content in them that is not generated as part of the blog? This is commonly referred to as a “static” page, for lack of a better term.
    It will help you and all of us if you ask one question per thread, so the questions don’t get lost and go unanswered. Be sure to write a descriptive post title as “Help!” doesn’t tell anybody anything. Your title on this thread is a good one.

    Yes, I’d like to add some static pages like contact etc.
    Unfortunately my brain works in html.
