Why not add a code highlighter?

  • This plugin is great and does the job.

    HOWEVER, considering that the majority of the users who use this plugin are probably working with direct HTML code instead of the visual editor, can I suggest that you add some kind of a code highlighting feature? The purpose is to make working with the HTML code a bit easier and convenient. Currently, it’s really uncomfortable working with code that is all just black font on a white background, it’s like coding in Windows Notepad!

    You could add it as an option for those who do not want or need it though.

    Hello there,

    What kind of code highlighting do you suggest? HTML + CSS (php as well?). I am not sure if there is syntax highlighter that can highlight different types of languages in one text. Can you recommend one?

    There are many available solutions out there. Try CodeMirror?
