    Why are all my post images in the emails being sent blank? There is a spot for them but when you click download images it says broken link or image not found. I inserted (IMAGE) to insert the featured image but then I have that and an empty place holder.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Are you able to view the source HTML of the email and directly check what the image link is? Does that file exist on your server?

    Now that I have the whole GDPR thing squared away and all is working as it should I need help with the IMAGE function. When I send the entire full post the featured image is blank. If I use IMAGE the picture will be in the email along with a blank picture from the post. Obviously the picture exists or IMAGE would not work. Why is the picture contained in the post coming through as blank. I am send FULL HTML post notifications. When I right click on the blank picture in the email there is no link to it. HTML within the post is being sent fine.

    Ah, I see in the code now that the {IMAGE} keyword has slipped into the Settings page. I’m sorry but it won’t work in the free version as other portion of code required for it to work are not there. It’s slipped in from the paid Subscribe2 HTML version.

    I am send FULL HTML post notifications.

    I suspect this is not the case – the setting you are looking at is on the page titled ‘Your Subscriptions’ so that is the preference for your email, not a global plugin setting.

    Actually the IMAGE tag does work. When I use it I get the complete image and then an empty box where the post image is supposed to be in the email. When I leave out the IMAGE Tag all I get is an empty box in the post where the picture is supposed to be. This is what I would like to fix or just get rid of the empty box placeholder all together.

    Very weird, when the email first sent to notify of new post the image was blank and I could not even download it. After I made the above reply I went in to see what I could do to fix it and the image was there and also in all my email test accounts. Seems like it take a bit to propagate. Thoughts? Server cache?

    @healthysolutions4living

    The images sizes don’t seem that large, either in dimensions or size. Do you use CDN at all on your site?

    I use Bluehost and I have no idea how they do it. But it does seem like a propagation issue.

    @mattyrob

    You would usually pay for CDN, unless you are on a Bluehost service that has server balancing or something like that perhaps.

    Are you able to ask them? If the image appears in your browser without any lag or time to propagate then it really should appear in the same way in emails, but it’s worth asking Bluehost if they have any explanation as I currently do not.
