• Okay I’m going to make a general WordPress complaint, though it does apply to the MLS plugin. Why doesn’t any of you developers put a little effort into a little documentation, just a simple how to use would be nice with an actual example. Excuse me if I’m not a super geek with WordPress, but I think that is the sell of WP – to simplify the development. I hope you pass this along to all developers – a few more words and pictures please.

Now for MLS, and what should have been explained more clearly: how to use. Could someone just put in fairly simplified steps (not brain numbingly simple-just the basics) how to for example make a multilingual post and linking them having created, say, two separate language sites? Or at least refer to somewhere that’s been done. Sorry for making someone else do what should be a basic part of development.

Please read the “Installation” section of this plugin first. There is a link to a website where you can find https://msls.co/install-config-and-use/ for example.

After that just come back and we can discuss Open Source issues – all the additional documentation in German and Italian and so on… :/

Okay. I do appreciate the quick response and will feedback any findings. Still my criticism of WP (not of your contribution) still stands-there are areas for improvement.

BTW I don’t think that it’s ok to rant about a general lack of documentation in WordPress. There is quite a lot out there and if you miss something, why don’t you research a little bit and contribute to it?

    Have a look here:

There are various teams working in different fields. If you don’t know where you should begin, visit a Meetup, a WordCamp/Contributor Day or whatever.

I think that is the sell of WP – to simplify the development.

WordPress is open source and driven by its community. I nor this website sell you nothing here (if not some swag in the shop).
