I’m trying to resolve an issue with my website. We sell software renewal licenses, including basic, silver, and gold options. I’ve set these up as products using WooCommerce .

To test the purchase process, I created a customer account named Ramesh with the abcd1234 . However, when Ramesh tries to purchase a license (basic, silver, or gold), the site prompts him to sign up again, even though he’s already logged in. I’ve checked all the settings:

“Allow customers to place orders without an account” is enabled.”

    and unchecked

    1. Allow customers to log into an existing account during checkout” is disabled.
    2. “Allow customers to create an account during checkout” is disabled.
    3. “Allow customers to create an account on the ‘My account’ page” is disabled.

I’ve also tried deactivating all plugins except WooCommerce and switched to the default theme (twenty twenty-one), but the issue persists. The site continues to show a signup page for logged-in customers, which shouldn’t happen. I want customers who are logged in to be able to purchase their licenses directly from their account without being prompted to sign up again. If anyone has a solution, I’d appreciate your help in resolving this problem.

  • Hi @pkcg

Thank you for reaching out — we’re happy to help!

From what I gather, this is currently not the case, as a login option appears at the site’s Checkout page. Screenshot linked here, for reference.

To clarify, at what point does the sign-up page appear?

While investigating this, I was able to add a product to Cart, and then proceed to Checkout. There, I was presented with a login option. See screenshot linked above, for context.

I hope this helps! We look forward to your response. In the meantime, please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.
