why like and share button have same counter ?

  • if a user click on like it should be 1 but on the same time the share counter is also 1 , on the same side if user share something it will be 1 but on like counter it is also 1 .

    it’s supposed to be like this for any Facebook button.

    As stated on the official site, the number shown is the sum of: 1) The number of likes of your URL, 2) The number of shares of your URL – this includes copy/pasting a link back to Facebook – and 3) The number of likes and comments on stories on Facebook about your URL.

    but it was fine before !

    like if 9 users was like the post it was showing 9 and 2 people shared it ! but from last week it is showing same numbers ! and also i can’t disable the likes counter . like if i want to make it like this : https://prntscr.com/3zag6h

    You can do it enabling the “share button” (better together with the “enable html5” option) inside the advanced options of the Facebook Like button.

    i have checked the enable html5 but still the counter is showing at like button i want it like https://prntscr.com/3zag6h like it should not show on like but on the share !
