• Hi, I repeatedly face an issue whereby some admin menu items (example Appearance > Menu) does not show, even though the Adminimize item is unchecked for all roles.

    • I have tried saving the Adminimize menu again (to update it’s records).
    • Tried to hide it and then unhide it again, saving each time.

(Yes, I’m logging in on another browser as the appropriate user role)

Nothing I can do within the Adminimize admin tool allows me to make the (Appearance >)MENUS and (Appearance >) Widgets items appear. They are always hidden.

(I frequently see the inverse too. Sometimes items that are checked, still display.)
I build many sites and don’t like changing the Adminimize settings unless absolutely critical, for this reason.

Is there anywhere I can look to manually trigger a refresh of the associations?

    Thanks, otherwise a great plugin.
It’s just rather tempremental. I wish there was somewhere I could look to see exactly what is linked where, so that I could manually change it if necessary, in the database directly.

  • I’m also seeing this same issue – has anyone found an answer to it please?

Seems like Members plugin is related somehow.
Uncertain. Problem remains once both Members and Adminimize have been deactivated (and settings deleted).

For now, I have just created a new user role with Members that has the same rights and all better.
Menus (and Widgets) under Appearance are showing again.
    Adminimize settings took.
