It works very well. But it’s not sending PDF to customer. I check all settings but none worked. Is this plugins sends pdf to admin only? Not to customers?

Hi! This plugin definitely also allows you to attach the PDF to the email sent to the customer. Could you share a screenshot of your attachment settings under WooCommerce > PDF Invoices > Documents > Invoice?

Are your customers not receiving the email or is the PDF not attached to the email?
Your post subject says the email is not sending to the customers, so this may be an issue rooted deeper in WooCommerce (the emails are not sent by PDF invoices but by core WooCommerce processes). WooCommerce has a an email FAQ on their site.

Let us know and we’ll do our best to help you find why your customers are not receiving the attachment!

Hi, Issue is not the email. Email is reaching to the destination without issue. The thing is, When new order placed then two emails sends via woocommerce, One for admin and one for customer. This plugin is attaching PDF with Admin email(email which received by admin) but not with customer email. It sends PDF to customer email only when we change order status to “Complete”.

I was asking if this plugin can send email just after a new order is placed. But seems these kinds of plugins is not build in way to allow this because after your plugin I tried one more similar plugin which also sends PDF only after order status change to complete.

In current project client is only going to deliver order in his local area only, and he is not intended to use dashboard so he won’t gonna change order status since he will not use dashboard. That’s why I was asking if this is possible in plugin or not. If as standards, sending invoice is not appropriate before order complete then I can understand ??

Since other similar plugin also not providing early invoice to customer(came to know later after installing similar plugins) then I think client need to be convinced.

    Hello Rish,
After an order is placed (and not yet completed), WooCommerce will send one of two emails to the customer:

    1. Order on-hold
    2. Processing order

You can attach the invoice to either (or both) of these emails. If only the admin new order email is sent, then I recommend checking WooCommerce > Settings > emails to check if both of these emails are enabled.

    Hi,

Email is being send on customer side whenever a new order is placed. But PDF is not attached with that email. Here is the admin setting of your plugin https://ibb.co/djHLnH

Okay solved it, I wasn’t aware that we need to check “processing” option to send PDF to customer. Now it’s working. Thanks for your time ??

Very glad to hear that ??
Indeed, that “New Order” email is only sent to the admin, as the settings description indicates, the customer email is a separate order.
We actually recommend not to attach the invoice to the “New Order” email for most shops, because this email is sent regardless of whether this order is actually paid for or cancelled/failed later. If you attach the PDF invoice to the Processing email you can be certain that it is actually paid for.

Hope that helps – have a fantastic day!
