so why they don’t update their version ?

and how to verify that this person on the github is related to W3 total cache .

    thanks

its not the author but a small group of coding folks who visit and chat in this forum often who have decided to help other people like me and many others by discussing and fixing bugs and placing into one downloadable version. You can roam this forum for all the fixes yourself and manually put them in your version (its all there) or roam each github commit line by line too — makes it easy to see additions and deletions and commentary of the reason for the fix.

So it’s up to you if you want to use it. If you dont, then don’t.

btw i have no connection to the github fix page. just a thankful w3tc user of it.

@abdorefky, I’m not the owner of the github repository, but I have recently started contributing there.

The repo is community-driven and fixes a lot of bugs in w3tc (some of these bugs have been identified and reported at least 2 years ago and yet went on without a fix!).

As Fist Full of Crisco said, it’s up to you to decide on whether to use it or not.

Just to clarify @abdorefky, the problem is that the authors of this plugin is basically MIA, and they aren’t updating it.
