• The media library really should have this ability built-in. Since it doesn’t, I’m really glad this plugin exists!

    If you have a basic WordPress site with no page builders, no custom fields, no plugins for galleries that don’t use the normal WordPress gallery method, etc., the free version is great. If you do have any of those things, you’ll want the Pro version.

    Reducing the size of the media library and other files on your site not only saves storage space which may save money, it also makes backups and restores faster. If the unthinkable happens to your site at some point and you have to restore it, you will be very happy if you kept the media library clean with this plugin. If you didn’t, you’ll be desperately watching the progress bar while you upload your much larger set of backup files.
