• I followed each step precisely as to adding a child theme of the twenty thirteen, I added the following css file:
    /*
    Theme Name: Twenty Thirteen Child
    Theme URI: https://www.coolbackpacksguide.com/twenty-fourteen-child/
    Description: Twenty Fourteen Child Theme
    Author: John Doe
    Author URI: https://www.coolbackpacksguide.com
    Template: twentyfourteen
    Version: 1.0.0
    Tags: light, dark, two-columns, right-sidebar, responsive-layout, accessibility-ready
    Text Domain: twenty-thirteen-child
    */

    /* =Theme customization starts here
    ————————————————————– */

    I saved it and everything, then when I get back on my wordpress > themes> selection, there isn’t a twenty thirteen child theme showing up for me to activate. What’s going on?

    Solved it, I just had to create the child theme file in my webpage’s theme’s folder rather than another folder I made it in.
