    Hi,

Just used your plugin to create a story.

Would you be able to check why it is not an AMP page, and what do I need to do?

I do not want to activate AMP for my whole site – but can I just activate it for this URL in some way? Please let me know.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Web Story post is an AMP document. AMP is a framework built with its own optimizations. AMP documents must also adhere to certain specifications in the code to be valid AMP.

I notice in your source code that you are using WP Rocket optimization plugin. Can you confirm? We can try to exclude the story post by excluding the “/web-stories/” URL in their settings to prevent optimization on those posts under Advanced Rules > Never Cache URL(s).

Next, test the story URL using AMP Test tool and check if any validation errors occur.

Fixed, it was the plugin. I thought it was the problem actually. Thanks!

How can I preview the web story in the search result?

It is now a valid webstory: https://tppr.me/ewe18

Should I just try to index the url in GSC? Where can I see the result in the SERP?

    Thanks!

@eriikn Once Web Stories meet the criteria for Google Search, they can be eligible for display in a variety of ways on Google. This ranges from a “regular” blue link being displayed in SERP over to more visual styles. See https://developers.google.com/search/docs/guides/enable-web-stories for more information.

    Hi Pascal,

    Thanks for that!

Would you this one works accroding to “criteria” or is it too short? I feel like the story format is more of a pitch than the full thing, but maybe I should treat it as “the full thing” instead?

I think I followed all the guidelines! https://booksummaryclub.com/web-stories/5am-club-summary/

@eriikn The AMP tool is the best place to check if the Web Story is valid. You can preview how your story will appear in search results there. For example, here is your story preview using the AMP Test tool.

While we are limited to the support we can provide on this forum for the Web Stories plugin, you can access the following resources if you have further questions on how your stories work in search:
