Why Isn’t Email Being Delivered

  • I hope it is appropriate to post this question here. I couldn’t find a more specific forum.

    I am a website designer and use WordPress and Divi exclusively. My WooCommerce website client stopped getting order notifications just after 7.19.23. It has been suggested that something changed in PHP that may be causing the delivery failure.

    There are three email addresses in the WooCommerce setup that new order notifications are to be sent to. It’s curious that I continue to get the notifications, however, the two for the client do not. Here is a WP Mail Logging plugin JSON record of a recent mailing. I am not able to analyze the JSON. I will really appreciate anyone’s analysis leading to a resolution.

    When emails are critical, it’s best to use one of the SMTP plugins rather than the built-in PHP mailer sending directly from your webserver. They’ll be far less likely to be filtered as spam. Using SMTP means that the mail comes from a recognized account and can be validated via SPF and DKIM.
