    Hi,
I am a software developer and I have user the WordPress Rest API before myself. I am wondering why there is a dedicated Plugin required in order to add integromat integration? I guess there is a reason, so can you please give me more details about it?

Cause I tend to avoid installing new plugins, and especially when there is an existing and working Rest API. That confuses me. Especially because there are so many bad reviews, sadly.

    Cheers
    Nico

Also I want to add that there is no option to regenerate the API key, once it is lost ?? This feature would be available with the “normal” rest api, so for me this is just another though of “why do we need this plugin”?

Are those issues fixed in the meantime? That also sounds strange to me. Would not have happened with the “normal” rest api.

Dont get me wrong, I dont want to criticize here, but I need to decide whether we want to implement this to our business-critical website.

I think you need it yo use the WordPress app inside Make. How would you connect it without a plugin? I don’t know ???♂?

You could use the REST API directly, but you should use always the “Make HTTP Request” module and configure it.
