Why is this on my page?

Hey there frankpipia.ca,

After checking the theme this should be the default value for Call to Action sidebar. Please try going to Appearance -> Widgets and add your own text in Call to Action sidebar.

If this doesn’t work we can try to hide it with some custom CSS.

It was not there before, so why is there now? I added some text to get rid of it, but that’s not what I want.

I’ve checked again and removing the text from the widget area should remove it completely, as I mentioned above if that doesn’t work please let me know and we’ll hide it with some custom CSS.

I’m not sure why is that there since I’m not really familiar with the theme and I do not represent theme authors, I’m just trying to help.

Hi! I just updated the free theme Pure & Simple Version: 1.1.3
in my wordpress website. It asked me to update it and now I have a giant picture of a young boy with a hat on just below the header. It is not relevant to my topic at all! How do I remove him?? take a look… https://www.makeuporganizeronline.com

Please follow the following steps to fix your issue;
Go to Dashboard=> Appearance=> Customize=> Basic Setting=> And click in the Hide default content from theme=> Then save it.

Thank goodness! Just gone from my website. Love the Pure & simple theme but this glitch is not great for business. Thanks for fixing.

This is really bad to update the theme
and then have to go to

Your users should not have to do that when they update

Hi. I clicked on the button but I still have the text “WELCOME to PURE & SIMPLE”. How I can remove it???

I have been heavily promoting the Pure and Simple theme for a long time now, and am very disappointed that nobody from the company is responding to these forum posts.

I understand that companies grow and make mistakes, but the lack of communication here is not good.

it seems to me that you will need to change theme. I tried different things and this stubborn text is all the time.
