why is this floating to the bottom?

using the plugin pretty sidebar categories, and for some reason, whenever i adjust the settings to “image left”, the image and excerpt moves alllllll the way down the sidebar to the bottom. and it wont. move.
i have firebug and i’ve tinkered with it a hundred ways, and i’m coming up with nothing.
problem is located in the sidebar, all the way at the bottom. there is not image there currently.
