Why is there even a search box?

  • Has ANYONE EVER gotten any kind of results from a search here? MORE than half the time, I get zero results, even from a search that says comments-popup

    How can that be? How can this sort of software have such BAD search features? I’ve tried following the suggested methods in the sticky FAQs on searching this forum and that doesn’t improve the results either.

    If you are going to release updates, couldn’t the search be updated to just WORK a little bit better? (anything should be an improvement over how it is right now)

    Yes, search here sucks. Yes, it is broke. No, we don’t know when it will be fixed. But there are alternatives!

    I find tags a very good method… gave up on site searches here.

    I find google is the best one to use:

    google.com/search?q=your search query site:www.remarpro.com

    I think the WP search is powered by Yahoo, and I don’t think it always returns the relevant results.
