• Hi Support,

One of my clients who I setup Appointments+ with just receive an e-mail that cloud.google.com is requesting they pay for their service. I did some digging and for some reason Appointments+ has been configured to use cloud.google.com.

What is setup on their solution
    -Wordpress 4.2.2
    – Divi. 2.6
    – Appointments+ synchronized with a free G-mail account.
    – website https://www.carolynzepf.com

Clients fill a appointment time and send it in. Now for some reason when I logged into cloud.google.com there is a project there. No data appears to be stored but there has been a log of over 128 and when I did this video now it’s at 134 but there is no one booking appointments so I don’t know where this is coming from. Here is a quick video to show you on the cloud.google.com https://screencast.com/t/3bMPd90y

Can you guys help us A.S.A.P. because this is concerning.

    Thank you

    Hey there knssconsulting,

    How are you doing today?

Getting this email means one of the quotas has been reached or is near exceeding. Currently our developer is working on an update that will help with this but aside from waiting for an update there isn’t much that we can do now.

    Best regards,
    Bojan

    Hi Bojan,

    I’m doing great, thank you

What do you mean the quotas has been reached or is near exceeding?

    I didn’t know appointments+ had a quota and I didn’t see any documentation that appointment+ would setup a cloud.google.com account.

That is why it’s confusing. From my understanding Appointment+ synchronized with Google Calendar to update the calendar to post the appointment and remove it if the client canceled.

Also I have it setup on other sites and carolynzepf.com is the only one who has received this notification. That is why it’s so strange.

    How does Appointment+ use cloud.google.com?

What quota is exceeding or is close to exceeding?

I really appreciate your help Bojan

    Hey again knssconsulting,

It should be connected via Google Calendar API, as for specific quotas that’s really hard to say from this point.

Either way the only way to currently avoid this would be not to use Google calendar with Appointments+ until the update is released as Google changed quite a few things so we need to change the code in the plugin to avoid this.

Sorry if my explanation is a bit vague, this is the feedback/explanation I’ve received from our developer.

    Cheers,
    Bojan

    Hi Bojan,

No I understand your team and yourself are working on the issue.

Any idea when this will be resolved and/or the new update will be available?

    Thank you

Unfortunately I don’t have that information right now and taking a guess wouldn’t really help. What I can say is that we’re currently wrapping up update for premium version which will include this and the free one will follow up.

I’d like to provide more info but I really don’t have the ETA on the update release.

    Best regarsd,

    Hi Bojan,

I saw the update today. I see that we now have to create an cloud account. Does this mean we have to pay for space for the cloud account on top of the appointment+ fee?

Also I have everything setup and it’s working great putting the appointment in my Google account. The only issue I am having now is that when someone books an appointment I’m trying to have them be redirected to a information page as you can see here

    https://screencast.com/t/Cp9KpVP7aH

For some reason it’s not going through. Do you have instructions on how to set this up properly?

    Thank you,

    Hey again knssconsulting,

Currently there is no way out of a box to redirect after booking an appointment in the free version of the plugin.

However, I keep seeing that you’re mentioning Appointments+, are you using the premium version of the plugin? The reason I asked is because there is redirect to a thank you page in the latest version of the plugin that you could use for this?

    Please let me know

    Cheers,
    Bojan
