Why is the new image size not available when I add an image?

    I have create a new thumbnail size a bit smaller than the standard one, but I can’t used it because it doesn’t show up anywhere when I try to add pictures to posts or pages.

    Hello,

    Have you added the new image size using the media custom settings? Do you not see this in the plugin settings page or in the lightbox?

    Yes in media. I can see it there under: Use Custom Image Sizes

    I try to use it in pages but when I add images but there are only the 3 normal sizes.
    I have even generated all the images for my new image size.

    Hello,

    I see. I think I understand what you are saying. So, you want to select the image size from the dropdown that is presented in the WordPress native media screen, and it only shows the thumbnail, medium, and the large file, right?

    I have to check and see if there is any hook I could use to make it work there too. I will get back to you when I have an answer or solution for it.

    Hello,

    I added the custom image sizes in the Attachment Display Settings > Size dropdown available in the native WordPress media screen. As a note, only the image sizes that are not marked for global ignore in the settings, and these for which the image was generated will become available.

    Please upgrade and let me know how it works. Also, please don’t forget to rate my plugin.
