When easy affiliate links plugin is activated, Rankmath pop-up occurs notifying wp admin that easy affiliate links has been added to sitemap, etc and to adjust settings accordingly on Rankmath. There is option to enable or disable EAL on the sitemap.

Please explain, what is the purpose (or benefit) for enabling/including easy affiliate links in the sitemap?

    Thank you

It should not be included in the sitemap. We are not the ones doing that, so I recommend checking with RankMath how to disable that for the easy_affiliate_link post type.

Right, it should not be included in the sitemap.
Not even sure why Rankmath would detect this pluging as a potential SEO setting.

Are you using custom post types or something like that to make this plugin?

Prettylinks and Thirsty Affiliates don’t cause this with Rankmath.

Using the super popular Blocksy theme, I also see Easy Affliate Links showing up as a theme customization option in theme settings. This seems odd as well.

    Might wanna double check it.

As mentioned we do use the easy_affiliate_link post type for our functionality. So other plugins can indeed pick up on it. We can’t control that from our end, I’m afraid.
