• I recently moved a website to a new host and it’s all up and running now, but I was just wondering if anyone could help with something that has me a bit stumped…

We were using a Google AdWords guru and the setup he used was that the site address was bookkeeping-brisbane.net.au (I believe this is for some Google ranking purposes?) The business name is actually Report Easy, so the URL reporteasy.com.au would forward to bookkeeping-brisbane.net.au.

Now on the hew host I have setup the site to actually be ReportEasy.com.au, but when the page is loading it is still trying to contact bookkeeping-brisbane.net.au…

I just wondered if there’s any likely settings in WordPress that I could check to stop it from trying to reach the other URL? (Or does anyone know if it’s something outside of WordPress?)

    Cheers for any info.

  • Are they two separate sites or one of the sites is redirecting to the other? Do they have the same content? Also see if you have both the sites indexed separately by search engines?

How do you have ownership verified in Google Webmaster Tools account? Are they claimed separately?
