Why is my site so slow?

    When I load my site, onthebrinkbook.com , with an Incognito Window on Chrome, each page takes around 15 seconds to load. What is going on with this? The speed tests I run show that it should only take a few seconds for a page to load. I super don’t want my customers to have to stare at a browser for 15 seconds, it’s definitely not the 90s anymore. Thanks!

    Try deactivating all of your plugins to explore whether any could be responsible. If none are, keep all plugins deactivated and switch to the Twenty Fifteen/ Fourteen theme to see whether it could an issue with your theme.

    It says the browser is waiting for linkedin.com .. could this be the Jetpack share button?

    It’ll itemise your site process on load and tell you where things are slowing up.
