Why is my Blog page so hard to work with?

  • Am I the only one who CANNOT get my solo-blog post to appear on my designated blog page in a way that displays a large title, large photo, and body of text?

    The only options I see to work with are the “format” options, and of those the only one that displays the main body of my post is the ‘video’ format (and I’m not using a video). There is no title showing and when I insert an image (media) it is small and embedded within the post off to the right. When I try “Standard” or “Image” or even “Gallery” formats, nothing shows up except for my tags.

    What I want is a simple page within my ecommerce site that contains occasional blog posts. I would like my blog appearance to feature a large title/heading and a large photo, followed by the blog article.

    What am I doing wrong?
