Why is it so hard to pin the pictures on Pinterest??

    I love this plugin but I have one major issue with it – it’s so hard to pin photos from the galleries to Pinterest! Anyone know why? Or how to fix this issue?

    First of all my Pin button doesn’t appear on gallery photos like it does on my regular post photos. When I try to use the Chrome extension to pin, it semi-successful. Half of the time I get errors when I try to pin a gallery pic, and I have to keep trying until it randomly works.

    I really don’t get why this plugin is not more Pinterest-friendly! Pinterest traffic is huge for most photo-oriented blogs…

    I’m not aware of issues with Pinterest sharing. Can you change the URL in your request adding a page containing a gallery so I can check it?

    Sure, just did! you can also check this one as it has a mix of gallery and regular photos, not just gallery:
    https://stayclosetravelfar.com/aquaria-villa-santorini/

    The regular photos have a Pin button on the upper left corner and can be pinned much more easily

    The gallery in https://stayclosetravelfar.com/aquaria-villa-santorini/ doesn’t have Pinterest enabled. I can’t give support for other plugins (I mean, I really don’t know why they don’t work!).

    I thought you enabled pinterest sharing in Final Tiles Gallery, I can help with that.

    I am using Final Tiles Gallery for all my galleries, but I didn’t know there was an option to enable Pinterest sharing! I found it now.

    Is there a way to enable it by default?

    There’s not a “default configuration” but you can create a default gallery to be cloned every time you need a new gallery.

    Also, if I could give some feedback about the layout of the options in Final Tiles Gallery (General, Links & Lightbox, Captions, etc.) – I feel like the menu doesn’t need to take up so much space, it makes it very hard to read as I have to keep scrolling up and down to see all the options. And each line takes up so much space, I really only see 3 per scroll on my laptop. I think if there is a way to design it with less empty space between options/dropdowns etc. you could probably fit everything in just a couple pages. It would be a lot easier to navigate.

    Just thought of this because I never really collapse all the different sections because it will be like 9 pages long and that’s probably why I missed the Pinterest option.

    Anyway, love your plugin though, it’s my favorite for galleries!!
