How to reduce the height (bottom) of a horizontal menu? Why is it impossible to do this? Why does he add a block under the menu text (Look with the right mouse button – explore the element – and see?
How to remove (delete) this block (long rectangle)?

    Hi Irana,

    Thanks for posting a link.

I see you have set the menu height to 10px, which it is, but the black box which contains the menu is taller, and does not expand/contract to match the height of its contents. The black box is part of your theme HTML/CSS, and our menu then sits within the black box. To remove the black box, you’d need to either override the stying from your theme to set it to transparent, or edit your themes header.php file and strip out the HTML that adds the black box, leaving just the menu (wp_nav_menu) call.

    Regards,
    Tom
