    Hi!

I’ve realized that the plugin loads the Google Analytics script without any analytics option activated.

Is this a feature? This could affect the GDPR policies?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello!

TSF does not support Google Analytics and it does not output JavaScript on the front end (JSON-ld isn’t JavaScript).

Our Cord extension does add support for Google Analytics, but that won’t output a script unless explicitly configured. It won’t output the script in the middle of the other meta tags, and it has XHTML support, unlike the one you’re seeing supporting only HTML5.

So, I can only conclude another plugin is adding these, probably using output buffering control to add it before the first <script> tag it finds (this is lazy of the developer). And yes, that would violate GDPR unless your privacy policy explains it.

Try disabling other plugins to deduct which added that tag — perhaps even try switching themes if necessary.

Totally unrelated issue indeed, thank you.
