Why is 3.8 adding to text?

  • Prior to 3.8 I had never before seen this code:

    <b style="line-height: 1.5em;">

    Now I’m seeing all the time and I don’t want my line height changes.

    Apparently it is getting inserted instead of a normal <b></b> or by some keystroke or something that is automatically converting to that code. I just finished marking up a plain text file with Bold attributes and when I checked the file I found a couple dozen instances of that code.

    Where is this code coming from?
