Why in role editor does not have a button with shortcodes to choose?

add the following snippet to the end of the functions.php file of your theme:

/**
 * Required capability to access the 'Insert Shortcode' button.
 * User roles and custom capabilities are allowed.
 */
$su_generator_capability = 'edit_posts';

update_option( 'su_option_generator_access', $su_generator_capability, false );

would this be the same for WP Roles? want Author and up to have Shortcode button.

or change value setting in Required user capability, what you you change it to? manage_options
