  • This plug in just stopped working.. had several people come to my site over several days, leave two comments… stats said zero in activity every day. When i tried to use a new API no from a new wordpress.com account it said i couldnt because: my site had already been registered with WordPress.com…perhaps its not a good idea to delete wp.com
account because of a registry? any knows more please help!

I installed the stats plugin and it worked fine for a day. Now, when I go to the dashboard, click stats, it sends me to a login page for my blog. No password or user will let me log in. I tried deactivating the plugin, cancelling the wordpress blog, making a new blog to get a new api code. I then reactivated the stats, it worked vour about 3 times looking at stats, then went back to sending meto the login page again.

    Any ideas?

The login page is for the wordpress.COM account that you used to get your api key to put into the stats in the first place. I admit this confused me to at first.

I have re installed the plug at my site, put in the api key again. and it is still reading zeros for the stats… another stat plugin is working fine.(the WP.com stats i like because they are real simple to read). Is it my theme? do i have to add code somewhere?
