    Hi,

recently a number major browsers like Chrome have switched from a green lock to a closed, secure lock. Some browsers will still show a green lock for certain types of certificates. As long as the lock is closed, your site is fine.

Most sites use a domain validated certificate which only validates domain ownership. To get a green lock in Safari (and Firefox), a site has to use an extended validation certificate which also proves the legal entity of the owner. To get a green lock in those browsers your site needs to use an extended validation (EV) certificate.
