Why I am unable to crop image on webstories?

From what I can see, the issue is not the cropping itself, but that the file type you are uploading (a .jfif file) is not supported by WordPress.

Since you are on Windows, you could try using the Paint app or the Photos app to convert the image to JPEG, which WordPress understands.

1. Start?Paint
2. Open the JFIF file. You can drag the JFIF into an open Paint window or you can browse for it by clicking?File, then?Open.
3. Click?File,?Save As, and then?JPEG Picture.?Specify where you want to save the new file.
4. Upload the newly saved JPEG image to WordPress

Sorry but as I checked the image already jpeg. But I rechanged it on paint. still facing same issue. Is there another way?

In the video you shared it’s a JFIF file, hence my comment.

Are you still getting the same error message?

What if you try uploading the image in your WordPress dashboard under Media -> Library -> Add New Media File?

In the story editor you could then later choose that image from the library.

If that doesn’t work it sounds like it’s still the wrong file type.
