why have rss button on WordPress blog? any purpose?

  • I understand subscriptions with rss burner and such but don’t understand the purpose of the rss buton that takes you to yoursite.com/feeds

    It’s a page with a bunch of code, what can anyone do with that?

  • I think it’s just a visual for visitors to see that they can subscribe via rss feed. When they click through to the feed page they can grab the url to add to their feed reader.
