Why getting spam comments on pages without any form

    My contact us page has no form on it. I just display my email address and not even text but as a picture. And also my terms and conditions page also has no form on it. But recently I got spam comments on both pages. How is that possible and how to prevent? And by the way, why akismet didn’t prevent this although installed and active?

    Is Akismet connected with an API key?
    I would simply disable the commenting on the pages and posts all together – go to Settings > Discussion, uncheck the first few checkboxes. Then I woulk bulk edit your pages and disallow comments like so:

    yes akismet is with api key and yes i already disabled all comments whatsoever

    In that case, I recommend following up with Akismet’s support.
