Why doesn't Google index a single one of my images?

Thanks for the suggestion but I’ve followed absolutely all of those guidelines. It is really strange that they refuse to index even a single image.

I looked at the HTML for a couple of images.

File name and alt= text bear no relation to the image. Technically, the idea of alt= text is to describe the image where the user might not be able to see it. e.g “hands over keyboard.”

File name there isn’t helpful but I guess the alt= text is better.

Turns out that they are indexed and webmaster tools is broken somehow….
