I am new to WordPress and just installed/activated Expound. I expected it to look like the picture shown on the theme page, with boxes for content and the overall layout.
But it looks nothing like this on my site. In fact, my site looks the same as before I activated Expound.
What am I supposed to do to get it to look like what I thought I installed? Is there a guide for this sort of thing?
    Thanks,
    Mike Palmer

  • I’ve created some posts, I’ve added “featured images,” and I’ve made them sticky, but so far all I see is a series of posts one after another like every other blog on the planet. I installed this theme because of the screenshot, but I have no idea how to get that. Is that “featured posts” page in the screenshot another page or the blog its self? If it’s another page, how on earth do I get it to display? There should be some more instructions on how to do this…

@groshiba can you provide a link to your website?

If anyone’s wondering, my site is ttmaher.com and I’m having the same problem, as described above.

@dignan17: it doesn’t look like you have a front page set in your Reading settings. Go to Settings – Reading and set it to display your list of posts on the home page or on a custom page you create – that should show the featured posts block.

Hi, I’m really quite happy with the Expound look&feel. Great job. One thing that keeps bugging me is that the messages page does not show thumbnail images of the images in the post. Is there any way to fix this?
(My website is 14december2013, the messages page is under “cadeautips” https://14december2013.com/cadeautips/ (‘hints for presents’ – we’ll be using in for our honeymoon and decided against a ‘buy us a beer’ link :-)).)

@rocinante14 – please start a new thread – this one is marked resolved and your question is not the same as this one. You can do so here:

    https://www.ecodimantova.it
authorname appears on post as soon as you open it but
author name does not appear on home page.
Please help i need author name to be displayed on home page as well.

You really need to create your own thread to discuss that
