Why does this have to be so difficult?

if my main site looks ugly its because i’m not done with it yet….and if it says something about blogger its because that’s what i tried using after the first time WP didn’t work. >____<

Did you install wordpress into https://j-alexandria.com/wordpress or another directory. I took a look and there doesn’t seem to be anything there.

You may need to describe your hosting setup and how you’re ‘installing’ wordpress.

I can bring up your login page but not your index page, have you been getting to your front page up til now.

i thought we could make our own directory name…that’s what i got out of the 5-minute installation guide thing. (which was more like 3 hours)

and mikey1, for the index page, its just coming out blank for me. its been doing this since the first time i installed it.

Also this is currently what my File Manager looks like under my blog folder: https://i40.tinypic.com/24yzn82.jpg
Idk if that’s right or not. =/

That’s probably the problem then. Mike probably has a lot more experience with it than me but I’m figuring you haven’t told ‘wordpress’ where it’s directory is.

Hi again, what happens if you try and log in, do you go to admin section.

Rename index.html to 2index.html and see what happens. That way index.php will take over which should be your wordpress installation.

https://j-alexandria.com/blog/wp-login.php works. And if I go to admin, it redirects to login, so … Tom’s probably right, there! ??

So what’s the difference between the blog address and the wordpress address?
