Why does subscriber count show?

    It’s embarrassing that a subscriber count shows for my blog, especially since numbers are so low. Why does it have to show and can I remove this?

    Example on this page https://jetpack.com/support/subscriptions/#filters in the black box (subscribe to blog via email) where it shows ‘Join 4 other subscribers’. Is there any way I can remove showing the subscriber count please?
