    Hello,

So, I read the FAQ and am aware that optimizing InnoDB might increase the size of the database. So I’m aware that’s normal?

My question and forgive me as I couldn’t find the answer is WHY does it increase the size? What’s it doing that makes it increase? My DB went from about 240mb to 360mb after optimizing InnoDB. But it will be faster?

Any info would be appreciated as I want to make sure I made the right move by choosing to optimize InnoDB!
