    What am I missing here? When I install and activate my theme on a local xampp install, it looks like this. I tried Customize > Static Front Page but that wasn’t the trick. It’s got to be something obvious because I’ve worked with WordPress quite extensively, but only with a different theme, so never had this simple problem getting off the ground. Thanks in advance.

    I also added a page with the business template, and set it as static front page, but this is what I’m currently looking at: Link

    I’m a moron. Assumed there would be default copy, and was thrown off when it starts off with blank slate.

    I’m still confused. How do I get the 3 sections below the slider. Did you find out what was wrong?

    Customize -> Widgets -> Business Top Sidebar -> Add New Widget, then find the TG: Services Widget. The rest of the page is filled in a similar manner. This image should help you the rest of the way.
